Waterfield Closed Due to Pipe Damage

On Christmas Day a Public Safety officer doing a routine walkthrough of Waterfield found a sprinkler pipe that had frozen and broken open.  This created a significant water leak that affected both the main and lower level of the building. This primarily affected offices on the south side of the building as well as the classrooms, the reference office, and the south side of the reference room. On the lower level, the carpeting on the southeast side and the Makerspace were affected.

Waterfield Library will be closed to the public as the damage is assessed and library personnel sort out the affected spaces.
