Library Closures Next Week

Starting next week the furniture in the offices on the southside of the library will be moved into the public areas of the library so that the area can be recarpeted. This will include all of the offices on the reference hallway, the dean's office, and the reference office. Due to this several areas of the library will be closed to the public. 

These areas include:

• The third floor will be closed starting Monday, March 13th and will not reopen until after Spring Break. As such study rooms will be unavailable to students during this time. 
• The Reference Room will be closed starting Tuesday, March 14th, it will not reopen until Tuesday, March 28th at the earliest. 
• The men's restroom on the main level will be closed starting Tuesday, March 14th. Please direct students to the restroom on the lower level. 
• The stairs to the lower level may be blocked. Please direct students to use the elevators to access the lower level. 

The library will be closed to the public starting Saturday March 18th and will reopen after Spring Break. 

This is expected to be very disruptive. Pogue will be open 8:00- 4:30 all next week and on March 13th and 14th. If students are looking for a quiet place to study you may redirect them there.
